As per title, how fast have you went?

Well, I punched 110mph out of it passing a long truck on a top gear roll on. Trying to take it easy because I only have a few hundred miles on it so far. But, damn, she had A LOT left in her! I'd bet 140mph on a Cafe with a good tuck? :007:
On a side note, the engine snarl as the revs increase is absolutely addictive!

This video is a repost by the orig uploader, a week after his first post

without his erroneous claims re 1/4 mi times.  In any event, I'm not interested in riding my Zed at top speed, not anything close to it.  With my ECU flash which eliminates the governor in 5th/6th, I believe, if I wanted to I could get an actual 164 mph.  Not with my very nice windshield, mind you, that 164 figure would be naked with the rider laid out.  But, not my bag.  (poppas gotta a brand new bag).  I've seen an indicated 115, a pathetically low number I recognize, but I've never had the desire to go fast on my baby.  I'd rather corner carve in the twisties, second and third gear all the way than look for the big number in a (long) straight line.  I used to see (an actual) 165 mph once per lap in my C5 race car on several closed course race tracks, that was the time to check gauges an relax a bit per lap.  I've done max acceleration from 0 to 100 mph on my Zed many many times.  That's where I get my thrill.  I got my thrill on blueberry hill.

Vroom Vrooom

(I find my problem with rideabilty with this bike being the propensity to lift the front wheel).

Mid to high 130s stock is about right but 164 flashed and geared even, is not realistic.

Math.

Assuming one could pull 10,500 rpm in sixth, which for what it's worth I believe I could laid over the tank with no shield, then you would be doing exactly 164 with stock gears and tires.  BTW - I base being able to pull into the wind in sixth on (dynoed) whp to weight ratio (light rider), frontal area, drag coefficient and ecu reflash...   fwiw I have some experience in this area, my vette would pull gps low 190's with all known data points...

Math+physics+wind drag+ aerodynamics...and youre not the only one whos driven a Corvette.  I also have a supercharged Caddy, a Hayabusa and have owned a Ducati 999 and a couple CBXs.  BTW, stock v stock the old CBXs are quite similar in performance to the RS.  Similar weight and horsepower, mid 11s in the quarter and both top out just below a buck forty.

Somewhere around 120mph on the z900. 187mph on my 07 zx10, I ran out of road. The z900 is not really a high speed bike. It's just fun to ride.

137 indicated at the track straight.  Stock, just cat/bread box removal.   Z really dies out past 9K.  I will one day do the flash.
And 164MPh ain't happening.:001:

I used to own a Hayabusa and got speed out of my system years ago. Try explaining to your wife why you got a $440 ticket like I once had to. Now,  I seldom see 100 mph on my RS and only when I know I'm not likely to get a ticket.

My best guess at top speed would be 150 mph with a flash and exhaust, plus I'd have to lose 100 lbs going downhill with a tail wind, then maybe. I haven't seen higher than 135 and thats the stock gauges not a gps.
